In 1953, Pr. Anderson and his family went to Zogam to spread the word of God, speak of the truth, and of the three angels' messages. There were only a few people who accepted the messages, but God saw us and led us to a better life in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

With God's help, several Zomi individuals finally arrived in the US in the year of 2007. Throughout our seperate journeys, God had always been with us and had created many paths for each of ys. In 2008, there were only 2-3 families in the Zomi SDA community in Tulsa.

With the leadership of Mr. Suan Khan Kim from the Oklahoma Conference, the small group of Zomi adventists were able to connect with and join the Tulsa Adventist Fellowship Church in 2008. On May 16th 2009, Pr. Thang Khan Mang had visted Tulsa for a gospel trip. The group enjoyed praising God and learning more about His words with him. Beginning in July of 2009, the Zomi SDA group began having seperate worship services in the home of Ms. En Khan Ning and her family. It wasn't until two years later when we were finally able to move their worship to a real church.

With the interest of standing as an individual church, we got in contact with the First Seventh-Day Adventist Tulsa Church and starting having joint services. Around that time, our group was also rapidly growing in number. Beginning in November of 2010, the First Seventh-Day Tulsa Church offered us some of their rooms to hold services and sabbath schools in our language, and we really enjoyed it. We used their church for 6 years.

With the help of Oklahoma Conference, we are able to get the New Life Adventist Church and make it our own. The Zomi SDA Tulsa Church is one that fully supports and encourage the Adventist teachings.
